The audacity. (G-get it?)
I do prefer FOSS for political reasons, but I do admit these FOSS programs can get really annoying. I found that downloading Audacity as a flatpak from Flathub works better than the package manager on Fedora.

JK - I got reaper, made a project file for recording loop back, editing and exporting WAV/MP3. Bye bye Audacity
