Fun fact: while mixing this song I turned up the snare too loud and it gave me permanent hearing loss in my right ear, Audiologist even showed that frequency loss where the snare was. Be careful with your audio interfaces, kids

The main bass part could use a filter envelope to give it that real funky sound. Interesting ideas here
